Trips
School trips are an important and effective means of motivating pupils; engaging them in active learning experiences. Excursions are carefully planned within our broad and varied curriculum, allowing pupils to enhance their knowledge by placing classroom learning in context. Through travel, both locally and beyond, our trips aim to help our children develop a wide range of new skills.
Our Upper School are invited to attend a growing number of residential visits, making the most of opportunities to link with the other schools in our Trust. With trips to Vindolanda near Hadrian's Wall, Italy, Iceland, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Cadbury World, places of worship across all faiths, along with an array of sporting weekends, where pupils are lucky enough to experience first class coaching, there is a wide range of trips for all to enjoy. Theatre trips and experience of the Arts, as well as visits to Secondary Schools to take part in academic competitions, continue to enrich the wider learning for pupils at Kitebrook.
