New Head announced at Kitebrook Preparatory School for September 2026

We are delighted to announce that Tim Knapp has been appointed as the next Head
of Kitebrook, starting September 2026.

Tim brings over 20 years of experience in prep education, joining us from Pinewood School, where he has served as Deputy Headmaster since 2022. His career includes roles at Chandlings and The Dragon, Oxford, and he is widely recognised for his commitment to character development and innovative curriculum enrichment — values that strongly align with Kitebrook’s ethos.

On his appointment, Tim shared, “I am honoured to have been offered this position and look forward to building on Kitebrook’s notable strengths. The opportunity to lead the school is both inspiring and humbling.”

Andrew Ashton, Chief Executive (Prep Schools) added, “Tim stood out for his energy, optimism and deep understanding of prep school education. He is an exceptional fit for Kitebrook.”
