At Kitebrook, the health and wellbeing of our pupils are a top priority. We have a full-time School Medical Coordinator onsite, who is dedicated to ensuring that all medical needs are met with care and professionalism.

For children with allergies, we implement a red lanyard system during mealtimes, ensuring that staff can easily identify and support those with dietary restrictions. Kitebrook is a nut and kiwi free site.

For pupils with medical conditions, we create detailed care plans in collaboration with both parents and the children themselves. These plans are reviewed annually to ensure they are up to date and effectively meet each child’s needs. Any necessary medications are securely stored and administered at school as required.

Defibrillators are strategically placed across the school site, ensuring quick access in case of emergency.

In partnership with the NHS Age Immunisation Service, we offer vaccinations for HPV and Flu to those who opt in. Vision screening is also available for children in Reception.
