Hear from our Parents:
“A great all rounder for our three very different children. Parents are seen as partners and the school works closely with them to ensure the best care and education for their children.”
“The school has the perfect mixture of the warmth of a close-knit environment yet offering the academic achievement and other enrichment you might expect from a big school with a long list of Leavers’ Destinations. Our children are incredibly happy at Kitebrook.”
“All of our children are getting opportunities to shine in areas where they naturally thrive but also to challenge themselves where they don’t automatically feel comfortable.”

Hear from our Alumni:
“I look back at my time at Kitebrook with fond memories of climbing the tallest trees, crystal hunting in the grounds of Hillside and making sure we could identify a range of trees just from their leaves. Nature was a huge part of our curriculum. I attended Kitebrook myself, along with my older sister. My two children are now here and love it as much as I did all those years ago. The deep rooted traditions of the cosy, country school have never left.”
“What do we remember from our childhood at Kitebrook? So many memories: the climbing tree of course – and peaches with butterscotch whip, playing in the autumn leaves of the golden tree, building dens in the laurel bushes, watching the cows beyond the ha ha during Prayers in the Big Room, Oral English exams (still happening), and, of course, Mrs McD (Anne McDermott) herself. We had the best childhood there; more than just an education, but also an education for life. The goodness of it all still resides in its walls regardless of changes.”
“Having been to school in London until I was eight, my first day at Kitebrook was a bit of a shock. I came home with my clothes covered in mud and talking non stop about the delicious Arctic Roll pudding we had at lunchtime – it was the best day at school I had ever had. The teachers and environment at Kitebrook allowed me to develop at my own pace, preparing me for the challenges and opportunities of Radley College, Durham University and UCL where I am currently studying for a Masters degree. From an incredible education to discovering the excitement of tree climbing, Kitebrook gave me the confidence and ability to reach new heights.”
