Kitebrook recognises that pupils with exceptional talent should be supported and developed within a nurturing environment which develops confidence and individual talent.
Our Scholarship programme provides a bespoke pathway to facilitate individual development within each scholar’s specialism. Kitebrook is proud to offer scholarships at Year 7 in the following areas:
- Academic
- Art (starting in Year 8)
- Drama
- Field Sports (Equestrian and Shooting)
- Innovation
- Music
- Sports
The Headmaster may use his discretion to award a Headmaster’s Award to pupils in Year 6 and below
who show a talent in one of the above areas. All Scholarships are open for application from internal and external pupils.
Scholarships are applied for during the Michaelmas Term (November and December) and take effect
from the following Michaelmas Term. They are awarded for the duration of the pupils’ remaining
time at Kitebrook, provided the recipient continues to show appropriate conduct, effort, enthusiasm
and performance.
Pupils may only apply for one scholarship. Each scholarship is awarded following a rigorous, open
and transparent assessment process.
